House in the Mountains of Switzerland16 photos
Project bureau Ruinelli Associati Architetti renovated an old house in a small mountain settlement in Switzerland. They preserved the external facade of the building, added insulation, and did not change the roof structure. Inside the house, new staircases were installed, concrete floors were poured, on top of which oak parquet was laid, walls were plastered in dark gray color, and the space was divided into functional zones. Furniture items, including beds, wardrobes, and a kitchen, were created based on architects' sketches. Local high-quality materials were used in the finishing, resulting in a modern atmosphere in the house.
