Small Apartment in Milan with Unique Character
The project, executed by the studio Massimo Magaldi Architetto, transformed a faceless and uninteresting apartment in a 1970s building in Milan, Italy, into a stylish modern residence.
Dark walls concealing built-in wardrobes are punctuated by striking niches with spot lighting, adding unexpected elements to the interior. A full-size sliding bedroom door, a double sliding door separating the bathroom, and mirrors on the walls contribute to a sense of spatial completeness.
The resulting interior has a deeply inspiring character, as if time itself has paused in this quiet sanctuary.
