Apartment in Dnepropetrovsk by NOTT Design Studio15 photos

Architects from NOTT Design Studio have presented a new project in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. The 120 square meter apartment is designed in an elegant and minimalist style. It includes a spacious living room, a functional and practical kitchen, a study, a bedroom, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. The space, originally with a free layout and minor constraints due to two reinforced concrete columns, has been divided into two distinct functional zones. These zones are separated by a small foyer that is discreetly hidden from view with a wooden screen acting as bookshelves but not blocking natural light coming from the living room.

The composition's core, around which the entire interior is built, is a horizontally elongated parallelepiped clad with American walnut wood. It conceals two bathrooms, whose walls are partially covered with glass, adding extra lightness to the structure and allowing natural light into these spaces.

Special attention was paid to finishes during the design of this interior. We see internal connections and conflicts between seemingly incompatible materials such as wood, marble, copper, and concrete.
