Apartment Redesign in Tel Aviv
Architects Amir Navon-Studio 6B, Maayan Zusman Interior Design and Moran Ben Ami presented a joint project in Tel Aviv, Israel. The 55 sq meter apartment was designed to create a modern and cozy atmosphere. Not a trace of the old and lifeless residence remains. The architects completely rethought the layout, transforming a single bedroom, one bathroom and a living room into two bedrooms, a bathroom, a guest toilet and a living area with dining, kitchen and balcony that opens to a quiet street. To achieve this, they had to remove all walls except for one meter partition, replacing them with strategically placed cabinets that hide all electrical appliances and glass. The key element of the design is a glass cube dividing the apartment into zones. It is made of transparent and black glass and contains the bathroom and guest toilet.
