Scandinavian minimalism in French apartments
The interior of this spacious apartment in a historic building in Marseille is very much like its owners, a Frenchman and a Danish woman, who are perfectly blended together the magnificent 19th-century architecture and modern Scandinavian design. The family moved here after several years of life in the countryside, when they realized that peaceful rural idyll was not for them, as they were always attracted to the atmosphere of a big city. Design and decoration of their own home is their favorite shared activity, so the couple happily bought a forgotten old apartment in a historical building in the very center to transform it according to their personal taste. The interior turned out quite specific, even ascetic in some ways, but such spaces are still very pleasant to look at due to expressive lines and details. Check it out!
