Geometry of Style in Tel Aviv (110 sqm)
A dark apartment in a 1957-built building in Tel Aviv literally came alive after a redesign by Dori Interior Design studio. With many sunny days in Israel, it was essential to take advantage of this natural asset when designing the interior. Large windows let in plenty of light, and the interior is uncluttered by heavy curtains or bulky furniture, allowing sunlight to fill the rooms unhindered. The furniture is minimalist and mostly consists of geometric shapes — such simplicity suits this space perfectly. Along the elongated corridor runs a long closet, in which both bedroom doors and storage space are accommodated. One of the bedrooms features an unusual layout for a shower cabin — a glass enclosure is positioned just a meter from the bed. The decorative lighting solution is also quite unique — LED strips on a blue background form geometric patterns. The play with light continues on the balcony, whose fence is composed of rectangles in various shapes — when the sun rises or sets, the floor of the balcony is filled with striking shadows. Interior designers brilliantly demonstrated how using familiar geometric forms and imagination can transform an apartment into a stylish and modern living space!
