If you have leftover pieces of wallpaper that are no longer needed, don't throw them away. Every item can find a new purpose, even wallpaper. Here are some of them.

Wallpaper as Drawer Liner

You might ask: "Why does a drawer even need a liner?" The answer is simple – so you don’t have to wash it again. Drawers are used for various purposes, such as storing women's cosmetics or children’s pencils. Shadows might scatter and markers may break and stain the drawer. But if its bottom is lined with paper, you just have to replace it.

So, cut out the desired shape from a piece of wallpaper and attach it to the bottom of the drawer using double-sided tape. That’s all! Agree, it's a very simple solution for making life easier.

Wallpaper as Art

One of the most popular ways to reuse wallpaper in Europe is making "art" from it. Leftover pieces are carefully glued onto cardboard and placed into a wooden frame. It is advisable to hang such artwork on a monochrome wall, otherwise it might look too busy.

There is one secret to such artwork – the color of the wallpaper should match the color of accessories or other walls. If it is just a piece of another style and not the right color, nothing good will come out of it.

When choosing wallpaper for such artworks, prefer wallpapers with refined patterns or large colors. Wallpapers with geometric shapes also look great in interiors.

Wallpaper Wall Art

You can create interesting hanging elements in a room, known as wall art or panels. They look very aesthetically pleasing and add an Asian touch to the room. This method allows you to either enhance existing colors in your interior or introduce new ones.

Secure the selected piece of wallpaper to both sides with wooden strips. Attach a string to one of them and hang the panel on the wall. It’s fast and stylish!

Book Wrappers

This is hard to call a new use for wallpaper. In elementary school, we all wrapped books in leftover wallpaper to save on expensive covers. They had many advantages – you could draw on them and tear them apart.

If all books in your home are wrapped in wallpaper, the bookshelf will look very stylish and tasteful. To avoid searching for a specific book, label them all.

Decoupage

In fact, old wallpaper can be used for anything. If the wallpaper is very bright and you want to make a room look appealing, you can use it for decoration. For example, you can cover a regular lampshade with the same wallpaper and avoid additional accessories.

If the inside of a cabinet is not as beautiful as its exterior, wallpaper can help fix that. Simply cover all internal surfaces with it. The old cabinet will again attract your gaze.

And the last of our wallpaper adventures is the staircase in your home. By sticking beautiful wallpaper on the bottom of each step, you’ll gain the esteemed status of a creative and crafty person among your friends.
