Primary Crib Models

The oval crib is a preferred alternative to the traditional rectangular crib, adding more light to the decor.

It consists of a structure with two semicircles and two straight sides. The oval crib transforms as the child grows. When very young, the two semicircles connect to form a mini-oval crib resembling a nest. As the child grows, two sides are added and the crib finally takes an oval shape and full size. When the child gains more independence, you can remove the side panels to turn it into a regular bed.

The term "mini" in the name already indicates a more compact model, thus suitable for newborns. Another shared characteristic of both models is the ability to move around the house. However, in the case of a mini crib, mobility is limited to home use since it cannot be transported in a car.

Still, this is an excellent option to place the crib in the parents' bedroom and keep your baby close to them right after birth.

When thinking about a crib, the first thing that comes to mind is the classic rectangular wooden model with mesh sides: this is the traditional crib. Since it's spacious, a child can use it for a long time without worrying about needing to replace it.

Today, the traditional crib is offered in two variants: Brazilian and American. The difference lies in size. The Brazilian model is 130 cm long and 60 cm wide, while the standard American one is slightly larger; it measures 130 cm in length and 70 cm in width.
