Bright Apartment with Perfect Interior Design

The floor, covering an area of 85 sqm, was built more than 25 years ago. In fact, no structural renovations have been carried out since the purchase. However, what started as a bathroom renovation in the bedroom, at the client's request, turned into a significant renovation of the kitchen and dining room.

If we look at before and after, the most important change is the opening up of the kitchen to the living room. For this, a wall separating these spaces was demolished, thereby utilizing the gap from the old passage from the hallway to the kitchen to integrate furniture by the entrance. This area can be used to store coats, jackets and bags upon returning home.

At the same time, we discovered a spacious and dynamic room, where you can enjoy everyday life. Due to the removal of the partition, television and electrical installations were modified to mount the TV on a wall facing the kitchen. The sofa was retained, which had modern lines and was complemented with a new armchair, TV unit, and floor lamp. The entire set focuses on new textile materials such as a carpet, cushions, and blankets to give the space a warmer and cozier atmosphere.

Dining Room

In the dining room, the table and chairs were replaced with new ones, while existing auxiliary furniture was painted. Emotional decorative elements from the client's collection were used: bonsai, watercolor or globe. Warmth is felt in every corner thanks to the parquet and neutral tones that reduce environmental intensity.

Bedroom Bathroom

In the bedroom bathroom, a bathtub was replaced with a shower tray integrated into the floor, a wall-mounted toilet installed, and two individual painted furniture pieces were created: one for the sink, another for the gap above the built-in cistern. A niche was integrated into the shower for soap storage. All wall and floor tiles are new in a beige tone reminiscent of stone, as is the mirror with built-in lighting.

When looking at the main room now, during renovation, built-in wardrobe doors were painted and handles replaced to give them a more modern look, as in the rest of the apartment. Wall lights were changed to more minimalist ones, and textiles were updated to match the bedroom and dining table furniture that the client did not want to change. Two fluorescent lamps were also installed as night lighting for the dining table.

Parquet Floor

As we can see, parquet was chosen for the floor, acting as a unifying thread throughout the space. This is special parquet resistant to wear and suitable for use in the kitchen and guest bathroom. Additionally, custom curtains were installed both in the living room and bedroom. In the dining room, they were placed in a curtain with integrated LED backlighting. The house doors were replaced with new white-painted doors and stainless steel handles.
