No ordinary solutions here — instead, interesting and unusual designer tricks! We've gathered bathroom interiors that reflect this exact concept.

Bright Finishing and Hammam

The interior of this two-room Stalin-era apartment has no ordinary details at all. The bathroom is no exception — its interior resembles a treasure box. They chose an accent finish: red tiles on the walls, unusual bright tiles on the floor, and wallpapers with a lively pattern. Moreover, after re-planning, they managed to create space for a small hammam in the bathroom. They also decorated it non-traditionally: they made an arched ceiling, painted part of the walls in yellow and added a star pattern on them with tiles.

Wall and Window Made of Glass Blocks

The main feature of this bathroom is the wall and window made from glass blocks. Thanks to this technique, there's natural light in the bathroom, so you can even skip artificial lighting during the day. They chose glass blocks with a pleasant peach tone that beautifully complements the blue tiles on the walls.

Colorful Ceiling and Printed Wallpaper

Wallpaper in a bathroom is already unexpected, but if it has an original print like in Anna Bereznyak's project, such interior instantly grabs attention. The wallpaper in the bathroom is a print on glass canvas, which was used to decorate part of the walls. In the wet zone, they used tiles and partial painting. The ceiling was painted a saturated blue color to contrast with the terracotta tone.

Arched Entrance to the Bath

The bathroom, like the entire interior of this spacious apartment, was decorated in Moroccan style. For finishing, they used small mosaic "arabesque," textured matte tiles, and painting. Instead of curtains or glass partition, they created an arched entrance to the bathtub itself. The partition was tiled on the outside and painted with moisture-resistant paint from the inside.

Wall Painting

The bathroom in this apartment also turned out to be unconventional. In wet zones, they laid tiles; the rest of the walls were painted and decorated in the style of Picasso's paintings. To support the painting, they chose black plumbing fixtures and contrasting details on floor tiles and cabinet fronts.

Shower in the Style of a London Telephone Booth

The bathroom in designer Anna Miklashewskaya's project deserves special attention. Instead of a standard glass partition, they created an actual telephone booth like in London using a welded metal structure. It became a unique accent in the interior, causing delight among everyone who enters the room. The unusual space is completed with a colorful ceiling, patterned wallpaper, and a toilet with a high flush tank.

"Rocky" Walls and Mini-Pool

"Rocks" plastering and suspended greenery create a unique nature atmosphere in this bathroom. But the main feature is that instead of a standard bathtub or shower, they created a small pool. For this purpose, they installed a threshold-free drain, embedded high glass fencing, and equipped the structure with lighting.

Three-Dimensional Panels on the Ceiling

The entrance to this master bathroom in a spacious loft is through a wardrobe. For finishing the bathroom, they chose dark tones and color plumbing fixtures and a sink made of red travertine to contrast. To soften the strictness of the interior and make it more cozy, they decorated the ceiling with wood-style panels and made three-dimensional wavy details from the same material.
