Genius Solutions for Small Apartments Worth Noting

The interior of this studio in Kaliningrad was decorated by designers from Line Design Studio. They completely changed the layout and fitted all necessary functional zones and plenty of storage space into a modest area. Asymptotic but Functional Kitchen

A compact kitchen is equipped with only the essentials: a small work area, sink, two-burner stove, and a freestanding refrigerator with storage space above. An alternative to upper cabinets were visually light shelves in wall color.

Table with Window

A sliding window with built-in dining table was made in the wall between the kitchen and living room. When the window and kitchen door are closed, the kitchen becomes isolated, and the table turns into a convenient workspace (a socket is installed on the wall nearby).

Original Partitions

Partitions made from unprocessed ceramic blocks were built between rooms. This durable eco-friendly material looks stylish, unusual and impactful.

Stunning Color Scheme

White was chosen as the background color: walls and ceiling are rough-plastered and painted. Grey is used for space zoning, while black adds graphic impact and contrast to the interior. Terracotta is a trendy accent color.

Ribbed Glazing

The walls in the living room, bedroom and wardrobe don't reach the ceiling by 50 centimeters, where metal-profiled glazing is installed. This was done to let natural light reach every corner of the apartment. The old window between the kitchen and bathroom was replaced and enlarged—this way natural light from the kitchen reaches the bathroom.

Concrete TV Cabinet

An original element in the living room is a suspended concrete TV cabinet. In terms of strength and durability, concrete far exceeds other materials. The solid stone surface looks spectacular, unique, and modern.

Wardrobe Behind Curtains

Main storage is organized in a separate wardrobe behind curtains. A modular system is installed there, which has a stylish appearance, doesn't overload the interior and ventilates well.
