7 Amazing Ideas from a Compact Studio Apartment
We showcase great solutions worth noting!
Professionals from the studio "Home Staging with Love" decorated a small 32 sq. m. studio. They thoughtfully planned the layout and functionality for comfortable living for two to three people. They collected seven great solutions that are easy to apply in the interior of your apartment.
Simple finishingTo preserve more air and clean space, the interior was not overloaded with complex materials in finishing. The floor was laid with laminate in one continuous run, and the walls were left with developer's wallpaper and partially painted in pleasant green and coral shades.
Ready-made furnitureKitchen cabinet was assembled from pre-made modules. This solution allowed saving the budget. To make the space look whole, the splashback was made with the same pattern as the side parts of the island and the dining table countertop.
Unusual solution for the cabinetThe kitchen was made double-row and the stove and part of storage were moved to the island. This improved the ergonomics of the room and helped zone the space, visually highlighting the dining area.
Vibrant accentsThe sofa, chairs and bed were chosen in vivid colors. They balance neutral and natural tones and set a special mood, clearly standing out against the rest of the interior.
Glass partitionThe private area from the kitchen-dining room was separated using a sliding partition made of metal profile and glass. It lets light through, making it look lightweight visually and not overloading the space.
Functional entrance hallIn the small entrance hall, only the essentials were provided: a wardrobe with a mirror on the front panel, a bench with shelves for shoes and a wall hanger for outerwear.
Shelves in the nicheThe niche next to the sink was used for additional storage – functional shelves. They are convenient for placing towels, hygiene items or just arranging decor.
