7 Design Ideas We Saw in a Unique Apartment

Architect-designer Roman Ivanov decorated this nearly five-room apartment for a very creative girl. They collected interesting solutions that will definitely not leave you indifferent.

The layout of this apartment (29 minutes) A Full Second Floor

Thanks to the ceiling height of 3.8 meters, a second floor was added and 42 sq. m was expanded to 58 sq. m. On it, a guest room and a music room were arranged.

Decorative Fireplace

The opening between windows was decorated with a beautiful faux fireplace in classical style. A decorative arch was made from gypsum and painted to match the wall color. Mirrors and burning candles in the dark create a beautiful and romantic visual effect.

Classical Elements

The interior is done in a modern style with classical elements. For example, the wall behind the sofa was decorated with moldings and the painting was beautifully framed with them. In the center of the room, a magnificent chandelier was hung and complemented with a classical plastered socket.

Hidden Wardrobe

The wall next to the sofa was decorated with book-themed wallpapers — it looks like a library shelf. A ladder attached nearby leads to... a hidden second level built above the bathrooms. This resulted in a 6 sq. m two-room storage space where you can move around comfortably in full height.

Hidden Laundry Room

One of the client's wishes was to have a washing machine in a separate accessible area, not in the bathroom or kitchen. The spot for it was found in a niche and the machine was hidden behind roller shutter doors. Ventilation and a rail for clothing storage were provided inside.

Impressive Bathroom

The walls in the bathroom were decorated with bright waterproof wallpapers. This is an excellent solution to make the bathroom not boring. A shelf with atmospheric lighting was placed between the installation and the cabinet.

Functional Shelf

The client loves taking baths, so it was important to provide a shelf where hygiene items, aromatherapy candles, and beautiful decor can be placed. It was designed along the entire wall during construction and tiled.
