Before and After: A Bright Living Room in a 2-Bedroom Apartment Transformed Beyond Recognition

This cozy and bright living room was designed by interior designer Taya Kipri in a 62 sq. m two-bedroom apartment. As a result of demolishing some partitions, the former hallway became part of the living room, and the entrance area turned out to be comfortable and functional. Before the renovation, this was a dark G-shaped living room with outdated finish and furniture. Bulky wardrobes took up a lot of space, making the room feel cramped and inconvenient.

In the renovated space, walls are painted white — it makes the area as bright and cozy as possible. To avoid unnecessary visual clutter, a double entrance door was installed. The first one is iron, the second one is white wooden.

A minimalist white console table on tall wooden legs beautifully complements the interior. Functional and stylish solution — a round mirror and two striking wall sconces placed symmetrically. They create a special atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and style.

To the right of the entrance is a spacious storage unit with shelves. For convenience, open coat hangers and a soft bench-puff were added. Standard dark bedroom doors were replaced with an elegant sliding door system.
