Adding interesting accents to ready-made interiors

Today, apartments with developer finish are in high demand: people want to move into a space with finishing and not spend time and energy on repairs. To liven up ready-made rooms, apartment owners resort to great solutions: they buy bright furniture, plan wall decor, and fill the spaces with unusual details.

We've gathered 5 inspiring ideas from our heroes' projects that will help with decorating an apartment with developer finish.

Artworks as a Starting Point

This apartment was decorated by designer Natalia Mukasyan for a young client. The layout and finish from the developer were liked by the owner: spacious isolated bedroom, walk-in closet, cozy kitchen, and quality interior doors. The floor is engineered board and ceramic granite, and the walls already had wallpaper for painting, so they were easily repainted to the desired shade.

Individuality was added to the space through built-in furniture made to order, but the main feature were paintings by English artist Emma Jade: they served as a starting point for interior design. The reproductions adorned the living room and bedroom, and the wall color and furniture were chosen based on the color palette of the paintings: the bedroom turned out soft blue, and the living room - smoky pink.

Zone Separation with Furniture and Accent Wall

The client approached D.A. Interior Design with an interesting task: in a studio apartment, they needed to plan a kitchen with dining area, bedroom, living room, and bathroom without major renovations. This was helped by proper furniture arrangement and the choice of a stunning color palette.

The dining area was highlighted with hand-made wallpapers with an elegant pattern, and a stylish sofa was also made to order. The floors and doors from the developer were left as they were. In the light interior, a berry tone was used as an accent—this unifies curtain, furniture, and cushions.

Tip from INMYROOM: buying an apartment with high-quality developer finish is a challenging but achievable mission. If you're looking for modern housing with thoughtful layout and cool solutions, take a look at ЖК Героев (Hero Housing Complex).

Create a unique interior with character: choose from light or dark finishes. Thanks to the angular glazing, the apartment will always be filled with light, and enjoying the landscapes will be even more pleasant. The layout guarantees comfort for the owners: even in one-bedroom apartments, there are separate walk-in closets.

ЖК Героев allows finding the perfect balance: it is located near Moscow, and if you want to escape urban hustle, you can go for a walk in the Olginsky Park. The developed infrastructure includes everything necessary for quality living: parking, kindergartens and schools, and places for relaxation.

Purchasing your dream nest doesn't have to be delayed: preferential mortgage at 5.1% for the entire term will help improve living conditions without compromising the budget.

Focus on Decor

A young couple dreamed of a minimalist interior with a subtle Scandinavian spirit. Designers from Huge Studio brought their desires to life: in an apartment with ready-made layout and finish, a cool character was added. The effect was achieved through stylish decor and interesting solutions.

In the bedroom, designers removed the window—unifying the space with the living area.

"Brick masonry was originally in the apartment: it was required not to remove the bricks but to incorporate all the furniture into them. A wooden slab of karagach was installed on the windowsill. It became a stylish and practical countertop where you can place decor,"—designers explain.

Green plants, bright posters, and custom-made furniture in a restrained palette—harmonious combination that gave the interior its charm.

Proper Integration of Luxury

This small apartment offers a view of the City. Designers from INRE had to do a redesign of the apartment for rent—making the space more appealing for living in a business district. Coziness and luxury were added to the apartment with developer finish through the use of valuable elements and atmospheric details.

For example, they chose an incredible Italian velvet for the headboard. Carpets with silk additions can change color depending on the lighting. The bedside tables were made to order and coated with black royal lacquer—each detail made the space more noble.

Accents in a Monochrome Interior

The apartment owner lives in two cities—London and Moscow. She wanted to be in a cozy space that could be called Home. Designers from BALCON Studio worked with ready-made apartments with light finishes from the developer: the kitchen was installed, the sanitary fixtures were ready, and the electrical work was planned. What remained was to add the finishing touches—furniture and decor.

Many items echo the gray color palette: in the bedroom, the moldings along the headboard wall were painted to match the walls, and the gray sofa in the living area also fit into the palette. Soft shades (dining table, cushions, decor) add gentleness, and the wave color—restrained reds. Installing light glass partitions helped zone the space.
