Designers Transformed a 38 sqm Studio into an Art Space
Original stylish interior
Sometimes, all you need can be arranged within a small space, yet it feels like you're in a stylish art hotel. This is exactly the kind of design that specialists from Zi-Design studio achieved in a typical, standard single-room apartment.
Let's see what they managed to do.

LayoutSince the apartment owner is a young woman working in the fashion industry, the interior was intended to match her style. In addition to the bedroom and wardrobe, decorators included in their project a love for street culture.

The layout was kept as is — only the kitchen opening was removed, and no doors were installed in the room. Storage systems were arranged in the hallway, and the entire apartment was divided into a living room and bedroom.

FinishingWalls were painted and laminate with tiles was laid on the floor. To make the interior feel more airy, the wardrobe fronts in the hallway were closed with sliding panel curtains from IKEA. These not only beautifully diffuse light in the evening, but also visually separate the living room and hallway. An oval mirror Banska in full height with a beautiful frame was hung on the wall.

The openings between rooms were left open, and a door in the bathroom was installed from relief glass. Combined with a large mirror above the sofa, this increases the perceived volume of the room.

An open bathtub with a black metal frame was installed in the bathroom. The tub itself is decorated with lines that imitate black cracks. It looks very extravagant, don't you think?

Storage SystemAll of the owner's books were placed on the upper open shelves in the wardrobe, visually lightening the structure.
LightingInstead of technical lighting, spotlights were mounted that provide different shadows, intensity, and warmth.

Furniture and DecorThere are many bright accents in the apartment at every step. For example, attention is immediately drawn to a neon sign in the hallway and graffiti in the bathroom.

A vintage screen made of metal rods makes a rustling sound when moved, and a chrome hemisphere light fixture and the poster 'I Want to Believe' add futurism to the interior.

The main feature of the living room is a self-made desk made from plywood and covered with mosaic. It perfectly breaks up the monotonous wall.
