Beautiful and Functional Interiors

A kitchen is the calling card of any home. It doesn't matter where it's located: in a new building, Stalin-era apartment, or Khrushchyovka. The main thing is that the space looks stylish and harmonious.

We've selected several examples of kitchens where everything is just right.

Designer Vladа Vologirova decorated this European-style kitchen for her family. The kitchen cabinet was custom-made, with a P-shaped configuration and a bar counter. The doors are matte-finished with integrated handles — they're convenient for opening heavy doors, such as those of a dishwasher. The countertop is made of artificial stone, and the sink is embedded in stainless steel.

The designer Anna Zhizhakina's kitchen is located in a niche: the cabinet is small but spacious. Anna rarely cooks at home, so she chose a two-burner cooktop. The countertop is made of artificial stone with an integrated sink. The doors with soft-touch coating look very beautiful, but dark surfaces require additional care.

Designer Natalia Kupreychuk decorated this apartment in a modern style with loft elements for herself and her young partner. The kitchen furniture combines white doors and wood-like finishes. The central part looks very striking due to the contrast of color and texture. The cabinet is a ready-made IKEA model, although it seems like it was custom-made. The three-tier kitchen allows for all necessary items to be placed. The backsplash is made from a wall panel — this is a practical and budget-friendly solution.

Anastasia Kamenksikh successfully mixed black, white, and blue tones. The kitchen doesn't look cold thanks to the wooden countertop and chairs, as well as copper accessories.

Natalia Ananina did almost the impossible: she made a sink and stove from 200-liter barrels. The backsplash on this kitchen is made of reinforced glass. What do you think of such a bold solution?

On Nadia Zотовa's kitchen, classic elements — white "calf" tiles and light marble countertop — blend with the deep bright blue color of the cabinet. The decor, colorful and very distinctive, helps tie the whole picture together.
