Modern bathrooms with inspiring solutions

Today, the bathroom is not just a place for hygiene procedures but a full-fledged relaxation zone. While some apartment owners prefer to hire designers, others decorate the interior themselves—and it turns out very well! We've collected six bathrooms that were realized by hand, with carefully planned storage systems, beautiful design, and interesting ideas.

Light bathroom with a window

The apartment owner Daria Keshishueva is an entrepreneur and founder of a sewing school. She managed to transform a concrete box into a minimalist two-room flat with spacious storage and a great design. The bathroom deserves special attention: Daria had long dreamed of a bathroom with a window, and her idea came to life.

On the walls, paint was combined with white tiles, and large-format terrazzo tiles were laid on the floor. A sink was installed at the entrance, and the bathtub is hidden behind a door. The utility cabinet fits well into the interior: it stores a ladder, an ironing board, and other useful items.

Scandinavian style bathroom

The owners of this cozy two-room flat designed the interior themselves: there are many original details here. The Scandinavian style was taken as a basis, which is also reflected in the bathroom design.

The space in the bathroom was thoughtfully organized: a full-size bathtub, toilet, washing machine cabinet, and sink were placed there.

The space turned out bright and cheerful: four types of finishing help achieve this. Paint was used in wet zones, the bathroom also has "hog" tiles, impressive ceramic granite in wood texture, and white tiles with black ornament.

Vibrant and energizing colors

In this apartment, our heroine Daria lives with her husband and two sons. The owners decorated the space themselves: they didn’t shy away from experiments and vibrant colors in the interior. The kitchen is painted in the color "Tiffany," while the bathroom is dominated by an orange tone that energizes in the mornings.

Daria planned to make a very original pink bathroom with silver stucco on the walls and a disco ball.

"But something went wrong: I couldn't find the right shade of pink floor tile and chose purple instead. We forgot about the disco ball, but we decided to cover the inspection hatch with fan stickers: my husband loves football," she explains.

Neutral tones and stylish decor

The apartment owner Sofia planned to rent out this small studio to tourists. She designed the interior herself: she took two elements as a basis—coziness and comfort. This is exactly how you can describe the bathroom.

There was a problem with the water heater: the device had to be installed right next to the riser pipes, while hiding its presence. To install a very thin water heater, it was necessary to change the construction crew.

But the effort was worth it: Sofia got a minimalist bathroom in restrained tones, and wood added warmth and a unique touch. By the way, stylish decor was purchased at IKEA.

Micro-bathroom in soft tones

Our heroine Natalia, together with her husband, decorated a bright apartment with vibrant accents. The design was developed independently, and some items were made by hand. Originally, the bathroom was separate: they merged it.

The area of the new bathroom is about 3.8 square meters. Natalia was in charge of the design, while her husband brought ideas to life: he made the plumbing box, laid tiles, installed sanitary fixtures, doors, mixers, and painted the walls.

The interior turned out very cozy and soft: the white color was a winning solution for the small space, and the use of accent blue made the room literally sparkle with new colors.

Tiles from "Avito" in the bathroom

Nadezhda and her husband completely rewrote the renovation from the developer. The family thought up a great interior for a typical apartment in light tones. The bathroom became a bright example of saving money: our heroine wanted white small-format tiles, but they would have cost a round sum.

Her husband came up with an unusual solution to the problem: he found a sale of "Nefrit-ceramic" tiles on "Avito." It cost only 300 rubles per square meter.

The bathroom is painted white. The owners provided storage and didn’t forget about accessories: fun posters hang on the walls, and dispensers also became part of the interior.
