Two bathrooms in a regular 2-room apartment: stylish renovation without a designer
How our heroine made it happen
A common problem in apartments is the need for two bathrooms or simply not enough space for a full bathtub. Irina Orlova in a 65 sq. m apartment arranged both a utility and guest bathroom. The color schemes in her bathroom can be envied by many, as well as the stylish and creative solutions. Some of these you will definitely highlight for yourself in our article.
We enter the utility bathroom from the bedroom. Its area is 5.6 sq. m. Now let's see what our heroine arranged in it.
1. DecorationFor the floor and walls, Irina used tiles with a pattern resembling marble. The sink is built into the countertop of a graphite color from plywood.

2. AccentsSpecial attention was paid to black details in the utility bathroom as well. A black mixer with concealed installation was mounted above the sink, sockets are also black, a hygiene mixer, a tropical shower, and black towel hooks from IKEA. Though such details are not very noticeable at first glance, they look stylish. Two transparent wall-mounted lights with black decorative suspension were installed above the sink, which help create a soft atmosphere.
3. StorageSmall cabinets were installed under the sink for storage, and space was provided for towels or other accessories.
4. Guest bathroomThe guest bathroom has an area of 3.4 sq. m and additionally serves as a laundry room. The washing machine is equipped with a drying function, which is very convenient: saves time and space.

Finishing materials are the same as in the utility bathroom. The guest bathroom also has concealed access hatches for utilities.

5. TricksThe main attraction is a creative sink. It was planned from the beginning, but the original was expensive. Irina found a carpentry workshop where they made an exact copy for a lower price.
