This page is also available in the following languages:🇷🇺🇺🇦🇫🇷🇩🇪🇪🇸🇵🇱🇨🇳

It turns out you don't need to iron clothes, and the oven can be easily cleaned in half an hour. Our lifehacks are perfect for anyone who doesn't like cleaning but wants to live in a clean environment.

We tell how to learn to tidy up so you'll never have to do a deep clean again.

Start cleaning from the top shelves

Always go from the ceiling down to the floor. Wipe dust off all surfaces, including desktop lamps and household appliances. A regular cloth can be replaced with microfiber: it's much more effective at removing dust and lasts much longer.

Only mop the floors after vacuuming

Otherwise, the dust will settle again. You can vacuum not only the floor but also baseboards, walls, soft furniture, and even windowsills. The key is to use special attachments.

Mix water, cleaning agent, and baking soda when cleaning the stove

The resulting mixture will help clean the oven: apply it to the walls and leave for 15 minutes. The burnt burner can be soaked overnight in a cleaning product containing ammonia: the next morning there will be no trace of scale.

Add apple cider vinegar to the water when mopping floors

This is a great way to get rid of pet fur.

Use old plastic cards

If cleaning agents don't help, try scraping off dirt with plastic, for example, a card. Then wipe the area with a damp rubber sponge to avoid streaks.

Dissolve some baking soda in warm water when washing dishes

This will quickly remove stains. To clean a kettle from scale, fill it with water, add a spoon of lemon acid, and boil for five minutes.

Don't throw away the net the onions were sold in

Wet it with water and wipe the stove surface — the scale will disappear instantly.

Add ammonia to water when washing windows

Mix ammonia and water in a 1:10 ratio and wash the windows with a microfiber cloth — no streaks will remain.

Use dishwasher tablets when doing laundry

If bleach doesn't do the job, add it to hot water and mix with laundry detergent and a crushed dishwasher tablet. Then soak the clothes — the result won't disappoint.

Don't iron clothes after washing

Shake them well and hang them to dry as evenly as possible. When sheets and duvets are dry, fold them neatly and store in the closet. Clothes will smooth out under their own weight.
