Molding
In this bright two-bedroom apartment in modern Scandinavian style, designer Julia Babintseva decorated the bedroom in light tones. She applied wallpaper for painting and highlighted the headboard area with a textured wall. The effect was achieved thanks to moldings mounted side by side and painted white to match the walls.Photo: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websitePhoto: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websitePhoto: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websiteGypsum Panels
Designer Anna Mozhara created an accent wall in the hallway of a two-bedroom apartment for a young woman. This is a relatively affordable solution: gypsum panels painted in a pleasant shade. The pattern makes installation very simple. Panels fit together easily, and there's no need to match the design or hide seams between them. These panels can be easily found in any construction supermarket.Photo: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websitePhoto: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websitePhoto: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our website3D Wall
In her project, designer Daria Lebedeva also used gypsum 3D panels. Here the accent wall was made in the dining area to visually separate it from the rest of the room. The non-flammable and eco-friendly material was an excellent solution. To accentuate the volume of the wall, the designer installed lighting.Photo: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websitePhoto: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websiteOld Brick
The accent wall in this interior by Julia Zharova is made of real brick. According to the designer's vision, the wall connects two zones: the kitchen and living room. The client chose real St. Petersburg brick from dismantled buildings. The bricks were cut into thin slabs for installation, and some even retain the architect’s imprint from the building's construction.Photo: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websitePhoto: in style , Tips, accent wall, accent wall in interior, molding on the wall, gypsum panels on the wall – photo on our websiteConcrete Wall
In her apartment, Anna really wanted to use textured plaster on the walls, but during renovation, she came up with a different idea. She decided to leave the concrete coating and emphasize all its roughness, dents, and holes. As a result, a rough wall leveling was done, which was then coated with primer and paint. The concrete accent wall of the pillar with a technical opening was sanded and simply coated with lacquer. In this way, Anna maintained the loft style in her apartment through finishing.
