Do you prefer a separate living room or one combined with the kitchen? A monochromatic minimalist interior or something unconventional with bold accents?

Check how designers decorated living rooms in different styles, what techniques they used to create a comfortable and harmonious space.

Kitchen-Living Room with an Island

One of the main tasks was to create a spacious living room for receiving guests. There were no difficulties, as both the area and layout of the apartment turned out to be favorable. The kitchen is combined with the living room, where an island and half-bar stools were placed.

In the alcove area, a restored sliding table made of solid wood was installed. The base white color was used for walls and furniture finishing. In the soft zone, a vibrant accent sofa was placed.

Separate Living Room with a Fireplace

Designers separated the living room from the kitchen with a partition featuring glass doors. The central spot in the room is taken up by a large sofa and a footstool.

The soft zone is complemented by an unusual table made from ancient fossilized wood from Bali. Next to the TV area, a minimalist bio-fireplace was placed.

Airy Living Room Combined with a Kitchen

Designers created a maximally open space and arranged a kitchen-living room for hosting guests. They opted out of a dining table in favor of a large island with bar stools. The living room has nothing extra – just a sofa, side table, and a TV zone with a cabinet.

They used a mix of glossy surfaces with natural materials in the finish. The walls feature metallized plaster with built-in metal profiles painted black.

Cozy Living Room in Pastel Tones

The kitchen-living room interior turned out very calm and refined, setting the tone for relaxation. In the living room area, a pull-out sofa was placed, and opposite it, a composition of TV and bio-fireplace was arranged – for cozy evenings.

Decorative elements were used in the finish – strips painted to match the wall color.

Comfortable Living Room in a Designer's Family

The interior turned out traditional in style, calm, and comfortable. The door opening was shifted and widened to create double swing doors.

The designer wanted to bring together diverse elements, so in the living room, a vintage table and a marble table were installed.

Ethnic Living Room with Wooden Finishing

Here is an example of an interior for lovers of exoticism. In the design of the living room, designers used a variety of ethnic details. The color palette is built on calm beige tones, but the interior does not look boring.

Natural wood was used on the floor, walls, and furniture finishing. The highlight of the living room is a 3D panel behind the TV with cut-out silhouettes of branches in dark wood.

Vibrant Living Room with Natural Finishing and Fireplace

The designer’s task was to create such an interior that you would want to stay here forever. The kitchen was joined with the living room, where an island with bar stools and a full dining area were placed.

Natural shades and materials were used in the finish. In the living room area, wooden veneer shelving with brass profiles was installed. The interior contains many interesting decorative elements. For example, a fireplace group with a hearth, soft armchairs, and a coffee table.
