Interior with Flamingo in the Bedroom

For a young client, designer Marina Karalkina created a bright interior with vivid details. For example, in the kitchen-dining area, she adorned the dining zone with a vibrant turquoise cabinet — this added mood to the interior. The sky-blue bedroom was complemented with dark contrasting wallpapers featuring flamingos. Now, romance is always in the air.

These apartments are located in a building on the premises of a former cardboard factory from the 19th century. Therefore, Anna Morozova tried to recreate the atmosphere of that time and prepared everything needed for comfortable rest (the client works a lot).

They chose a light and calm color palette, which was supported by furniture made from natural wood. To enhance the summer and romantic mood, the designer mounted white fabric canvases on the ceiling with adhesive hooks. They resemble sails and are easy to remove — the decor can be changed every day.

This apartment has not only a romantic vibe but also a story. The client spent childhood in this district and dreamed of finding an apartment in a Stalin-era building — with high ceilings and large windows. Designer Marina Zhukova helped create a comfortable interior. The color palette was chosen light — blue and soft powder tones were enhanced with vibrant accents. Combined with the beautiful view from the window, it created a cozy and atmospheric environment.

It’s not immediately obvious that a young man lives in this apartment — typically, masculine interiors use more restrained tones. Designer Maria Bezuglova came up with a way to combine vivid visual elements with functionality. In the living room, they created a convenient workspace (the client is a student), and made the bedroom more romantic in soft tones — the effect was unique.

This interior has a romantic and vacation-like vibe — it’s all about its location. The house stands on the seafront in Svetlogorsk, so designer Victoria Lazareva focused on natural tones of calm seas, foam, and sandy beaches. Supporting this setting were items made from natural materials and fabrics. It’s cozy and cheerful — a place where you want to relax and enjoy life.
