In our opinion, there is no color that wouldn't suit bedroom decoration. The only question is how delicately to apply it. But there are several tips that will help you decide on a color palette.
Take natural lighting into account
If the bedroom windows face a sunny side, use soft cool tones. This will add freshness and coolness to the interior. Light shades of blue, lavender, pistachio, and soft turquoise, combined with white or pearl gray, are also great for visually enlarging the space and adding airiness.
If the bedroom is cold and lacks light, warm pastel tones will come to the rescue. All pale shades of beige, yellow, golden, peach, and terracotta will work well.

Darker colors at the bottom, lighter ones on top
Use darker shades in the lower part of the space and lighter ones above. This will create a sense of height and visually lift the ceiling.
Use monochromatic combinations
To relax at the end of the day and give your eyes a break. If you want to add more color, use muted shades: pale sage or soft blue.
Even a beginner in design will not go wrong mixing several shades of the same tone. First, choose any color that pleases your eye and always evokes a joyful mood and sets a pleasant atmosphere.

Natural tones and textures
Light beige, noble browns, olive, and ochre shades mixed with rich wood textures will create a warm and calm atmosphere in the bedroom. That is why eco-style bedrooms are so popular now.

Avoid dark and jarring tones
Especially if you spend a lot of time in the room working and relaxing. Dark and overly bright tones aggressively affect people, often causing feelings of anxiety and stress. It's nearly impossible to sleep well and restore energy in such a space.
If you want to create an energetic atmosphere in the bedroom, add bright accents. For example, we mixed traditional bedroom blue with vibrant gold on the headboard. This option works well in spacious rooms.

Use white color
Some people think that white interiors look cold and evoke unpleasant associations. In our view, white color represents purity and simplicity, and the mood can be created using colorful accents: curtains, pillows, carpets. Such an interior is easy to change without major expenses.
