A gentle and cozy interior for a mom
The client bought this apartment in a panel house built in 2003 for her mother and invited designers Nina Abasieva and Sergey Shepovalin to transform the 'killed' one-bedroom flat into a stylish and cozy home for one person. The small space needed to accommodate not only a sleeping area, but also a wardrobe and a desk.

Maria Pivovarova arranged the apartment for her mother, a long-time client. The goal was to create a modern and comfortable interior for living and relaxing. The main wish of the owner was no white doors, as she has worked in a hospital all her life and has enough of them there. Also, storage space was needed in every room, and a few vases and a couple of statues were to be kept, which are dear to her heart. The result was stylish and atmospheric.

The client specifically requested to paint the walls in a light neutral color. But he allowed one wall to be painted bright blue — it set the tone for the entire interior. To add more color to the room, the designers added bright yellow details.

In this apartment, color received much more attention. The designer didn’t hesitate to use bright yellow and blue tones in all rooms. Sand-colored walls and textiles evoke the feeling of sand dunes outside the window.

Another example of how to diversify a light interior. The focus was placed on shades of sea water and foam. Decorative items were actively used: posters and decorative figurines in the shape of fish. A nautical circle was even hung on the entrance door.

Anna Kozlova and Venera Teregulova from Via Interior Buro decorated a two-bedroom apartment for rental. The result was a bold Memphis-style interior with a spacious kitchen-living room, two wardrobes, an isolated bedroom, and a bathroom with a color-block effect. The clients gave the designers full creative freedom. Since the apartment is intended for rent, the project authors literally created a future tenant — a trendy blogger who loves unconventional solutions and vivid colors. Memphis style was chosen as the theme — non-standard and very eye-catching.

If your apartment has little natural light, paint the walls in a bright yellow color. For example, here they decided to experiment with the kitchen. A winning combination of white, yellow, and blue tones added mood to the interior. The bedroom was refreshed using vibrant details. What do you think about the idea of matching tones in the table lamp and bed pillows?

The interior of this apartment might seem ordinary, but the kitchen niche changes everything. It was decorated with a multicolored floral panel. The theme of vibrant tones was also supported by a yellow armchair in the bedroom.
