Reconfiguration of a Studio Apartment with a Bedroom in the niche: how it was
Designer improved the developer's layout and organized all necessary functional zones in a one-room apartment
Recently we told about a one-room apartment for a young man based on Alla Kusheva's project. Today we will take a closer look at the reconfiguration. In the living room, the designer managed to create a secluded sleeping area hidden behind sliding doors.

Attached wardrobe to the living room
It was necessary to sacrifice a small wardrobe at the entrance to organize a public area for guests, a workspace, and a sleeping place in the living room. The platform with a depression for the mattress and drawers, as well as sliding doors were custom-made according to the designer's sketches. The entrance to the room was made from the kitchen.
Attached balcony to the kitchenThe kitchen remained in its original place, and the balcony was connected to it, making the space more spacious and bright. On the balcony, from where a panoramic view of the city can be seen, a bar counter was installed.
Combined bathroomsThe bathroom layout was planned very carefully. Some technical difficulties related to the location of the pipes had to be overcome to make the bathroom spacious and convenient. The shower compartment is located on the left side of the entrance, a countertop with a mirror mounted above it was installed along the wall on the right, a cabinet and space for a washing machine were placed at the bottom. The pipes, installation, and storage systems are hidden in the wall opposite the entrance.
