Idea 1: Separate the bedroom area

If you have a studio or spacious bedroom that you want to make cozier, you can set aside the bedroom area using a gypsum board partition. The structure can be any design. You can build a partition all the way to the ceiling, create a low threshold, or even construct a box where the bed will be placed.

Two-layer KNAUF gypsum board partitions are ideal: they are easy to install, highly reliable, including for hanging appliances, furniture, and heavy mirrors. Additionally, sound-insulating materials can be placed inside such a partition, which is particularly important for a bedroom.

Idea 2: Create a wardrobe area

A wardrobe with a bedroom is a popular and functional solution. If space allows, you can simply allocate part of the room for a wardrobe. It is not necessary to build a wall, for example, from brick or blocks. With a gypsum board partition, everything will work out faster and simpler.

The easiest option is to build a small partition, and decorate the entrance to the wardrobe with curtains. However, you can also design a full-fledged separate room with a door opening. In this case, KNAUF systems allow you to incorporate a sliding door mechanism, which is important for saving space. Everything depends on your task and available area.

Kitchen

Idea 1: Separate the dining area

If you want to separate the cooking zone from the dining area, make a light partition between them. It is better if it is more symbolic rather than solid — a wall with a door will hinder setting the table and communicating with guests while cooking, and it can visually reduce the space.

Idea: Make a partition for the shower area

Of course, you can follow the standard approach and use brick or gas concrete blocks, but installing them will take a lot of time and effort and leave behind piles of waste. KNAUF sheets are moisture-resistant and perfectly suit this task — they contain additives that reduce water absorption, and they are easy to install and prepare for tiling. Additional protection is provided by waterproofing that is simply applied to the gypsum board covering.

Hallway

Idea: Create a hallway area

Do you have a studio and want to separate the common space from the entrance zone, reduce noise levels, and minimize dust?

You can mount a wall to create a hallway. In this case, you should consider sound and thermal insulation of the wall. KNAUF sheets are an excellent solution: they retain heat, and sound insulation can be installed inside the structure. You can hang mirrors, hangers, or heavier items like shelves on such a wall — all you need is to provide double-layered cladding on both sides of the partition and use proper fasteners.
