In this apartment of just 37 square meters, all essentials were arranged: kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom. We visited and share what we especially liked about this project besides its beauty and comfort.

A young couple who approached Darya Lebedeva were creative professionals; they immediately connected with the designer. As a result, the clients received an apartment that, despite its small size, feels convenient and spacious.

Hack #1: disguised the door as a mirror in the hallway

In the hallway — also known as the wardrobe — a large floor-to-ceiling 3-meter cabinet, a pouf with a soft seat and storage space, and a door to the bathroom were placed. The door is mirrored: it visually expands the hallway and simplifies getting ready at the wardrobe.

Hack #2: hid the washing machine in a niche

The niche is elevated — this makes using the machine more convenient. Below, a space was arranged for storing cleaning supplies. To save on mosaic tiles, they were cut from ceramic granite to look like marble. The walls in the bathroom were tiled with full sheets of the same material.

Hack #3: concealed all utilities above the toilet

For that, a hidden hatch was provided in the wall.

Hack #4: concealed the refrigerator and hidden space in the kitchen cabinet

Visually, the kitchen is divided into two parts: white kitchen cabinets and countertop along one wall and wood-like finish at the end where everything necessary is hidden.

Hack #5: created a dining zone with 3D panels

It was possible to fit a mini-restaurant in the footprint of a tiny apartment.

Hack #6: placed a full living room by the window

It turned out to be elongated in shape. The modest dimensions do not affect functionality and comfort of the lounge area: a designer accent color sofa and a custom shelf were chosen wisely. Being here is pure pleasure.

Hack #7: created a bedroom with glass partitions

This solution allowed preserving the room’s volume and not blocking access to natural light. Thoughtful lighting in the bedroom made the space fully intimate.
