Following the popularity of Scandinavian apartments, we publish a list of the ten most beautiful projects in the neoclassical style. Its popularity is well-earned: by rejecting anything overly pompous, modern classicism retains only the finest elements of traditional classical interiors.

One-room apartment in pastel tones

To create the desired atmosphere, Natalia Koreneva used mainly pastel tones in the finishing. In the hallway, this is a powder "silk" plaster and olive velvet sofa in the niche, while on the kitchen – a combination of mint and beige. In the bedroom, the spring mood is provided by wallpapers in blue and soft pink tones.

Bright apartment in a new building

The free plan of the apartment allowed Anna Simonova to bring all the client's ideas into the interior and even more: the designer created a walk-in closet at the entrance, as well as spacious built-in wardrobes in the bedroom and office. Plus, a separate laundry area was arranged.

Despite the neutral cream-sand background, the apartment turned out very vibrant in spirit and mood. The dominant feature in the living room was a green wall cabinet-library with a disguised door. The same shade of green was used in the hallway.

Not quite classical trash

For the finishing, elements of classical style were taken as a basis: dark solid oak flooring was laid on the floor, and in the living area – parquet in "French fir" layout. In the guest bathroom and hallway, mosaic tiles were used. The clients immediately decided that the interior would feature high baseboards, classical doors, and moldings.

Trash with a view of the Non-Stop Garden

Working on this project in a historical house with high ceilings and full-height windows was a blessing for the designers. Margarita Melnikova and Tatiana Nikitina divided the apartment space into living and public areas: one half contained bedrooms and a bathroom, while the other had the combined living room, dining room, and kitchen.

Interior for a student who loves guests and parties

The theme of contrasts became the guiding principle for this project. The authors decided to combine classicism and modern style, adding drama through elements of art deco. Beige-gray color palette throughout the bedroom was balanced with dark emerald and burgundy furniture and textiles, while in the living room – with violet-gray curtains.
