Bedside Breakfast Table: Comfortable and Practical
A breakfast table, comfortable, romantic, beautiful. The most fashionable accessory of 2017, according to bloggers' opinions, was a small and convenient bedside breakfast table
Indeed, it's not only romantic and energizes you with positive emotions all day long, but also looks great in photos. Croissants, orange juice, coffee, toast, jam, and a few berries for color - what could be better to start your day? If you haven't tried it yet, you simply don't have the necessary attribute - a table. We'll talk about what they look like and for what else they can be used below.
For What It's Used
If you seriously decided to treat yourself or your partner to breakfast in bed and have already thought about purchasing such a useful item, I suggest expanding the functionality of the table.
A portable table is a great find for freelancers. You can create an improvised workspace without getting out of bed. Even if you haven't tried working in bed, but just wanted to watch a movie on your laptop, you know that leaving the computer on a blanket causes it to heat up quickly. The table solves the main problem - heat dissipation. Modern models often feature: a removable tray, space for a cup or mug, a compartment for notebooks, books, or phones, and other items needed for work.

Construction Features
What comes to mind when you hear: "bedside breakfast table"? A small tray with handles? Actually, even such a modest item can have many forms and variations. Recently, designers have increasingly added L-shaped consoles on wheels to bedroom designs. They are very convenient, functional, and take up little space.
Lightweight versions of L-shaped bedside models and variants with removable trays are also well-suited to the function of a bed-side table.
Still, the most comfortable form is considered a tray on legs.

Breakfast Table: Choosing Materials
Today, designers have created and developed numerous models and modifications of light, beautiful, convenient, and functional tables. Trays are made from wood, metal, plastic, plywood, rattan, bamboo, glass, silver, and even carbon. Designers strive to make this item as lightweight, functional, beautiful, and suitable for any interior.
Those who appreciate natural natural materials will enjoy models made from wood, rattan, and bamboo.
Those who prefer modern technologies will find plastic, corian, and plywood suitable. They are easy to maintain, light, and beautiful.
Those who value luxury and don't mind treating themselves will appreciate designer tables made from leather, silver, and carbon.

Style and Design Varieties
A hand-painted wooden table or strict clear lines of a plastic tray, forged lace silver model, or intricate patterns from laser-cut wood - combining different styles and textures, you'll choose an item that expresses your personal style and taste.
If a strict plastic tray appears in a classic interior, and a classic wooden tray in a modern bedroom, it won't disrupt your interior but instead add individuality, warmth, and comfort.

Other Uses for the Table
You urgently need to mend something and don't want to miss your favorite show? The table can hold all the necessary items and tools, and you can sit in your favorite chair with the tray on your lap.
A portable table is indispensable when caring for sick people who can't leave the bed. For families with children, a serving table is a great find. Children can use it in their games: drawing, sculpting, gluing, and making various crafts from clay. For puzzle lovers, this variant is extremely convenient - nothing will be lost. Table games like checkers, chess, and dominoes can fit on it.
If you have a cozy painted balcony or loggia, a small portable table with handles will allow you to organize breakfast outdoors or in a pleasant atmosphere. A foldable version is perfect for a romantic picnic in nature. And most importantly, a small table makes an excellent gift: for a loving couple, on an anniversary, or on Valentine's Day.

Homemade Breakfast Table
A bedside breakfast table can be easily made by hand. A console-type model can be built in just a few hours. You'll need to follow seven simple steps:
Step One: Measure the dimensions of your bed. Width. The table should pass freely from each side. Height. The height of the bed plus mattress, plus your legs - you should be able to fit comfortably under the console.
Step Two: Purchase materials. You'll need two boards, 4 mounting brackets, wheels, screws, sandpaper, paint or varnish depending on the design.
Step Three: Measure and cut the legs for your table and the required length of the tabletop. Sand all surfaces with sandpaper. Then, wipe clean with a cloth or vacuum any dust and debris that might get under the paint.

Step Four: Optional. Paint or varnish the boards. This step can be skipped if you prefer unfinished wood. However, in this case, I recommend treating the boards with special oil.
Step Five - Mark, drill, and attach connecting brackets. Ensure that the legs are attached to the tabletop at a 90-degree angle.
Step Six - Attach rollers. Mark and attach wheels to the table legs.
Step Seven - Assemble your table.
