Floral Ornament

This two-room flat is located in a 'Stalinist' house at the intersection of Novy Arbat and Sadovoye Koltso. The endless flow of cars outside the window and gloomy houses like 'books' on Novy Arbat don't put one in a relaxed mood, so designer Kati Chistova decided to create a real oasis in the apartment: thus, the project received the name 'Flora and Fauna', where parrots and bright flowers settled on the wallpaper in the bedroom.

Soft Headboard

This solution perfectly fits into the interior concept: Sergei Sargin maintained the entire project in a minimalism style. The soft headboard provides additional thermal and sound insulation, and also serves as a convenient backrest to lean on while reading a book before sleep.

Texture + Color

Despite a neutral color palette, the room doesn't look dull, and it's partly due to the accent wall where several shades of rich blue were combined. It immediately draws attention: it is clad with natural wood and covered with several layers of matte paint. The wood texture is still visible.
