How to Organize a Workspace in the Bedroom: Three Real Examples
Not always the size of the living space allows you to dedicate a separate room for a home office: often you have to find a way to place the workspace in one of the rooms. We have selected three stylish and cozy bedrooms where work and creativity zones were successfully arranged.
Option 1. A Narrow Workspace Along the Wall
In this small, bright Scandinavian bedroom, the workspace is located along one of the walls. The countertop is quite narrow, but its length allows comfortable placement of all necessary items for work. Two spacious cabinets with drawers made it possible to do without wall shelves, while indoor plants and wall decor added warmth to the space.

The workspace is decorated in the color scheme of the bedroom, which allowed it to blend harmoniously into the interior without feeling out of place. Such a configuration of a home mini-office is particularly relevant if the only possible location for it is a narrow elongated space along one of the walls. If this free wall also has a window, the placement can be called almost ideal.

Option 2. A Workspace in the Corner
Placing a workspace in this soft bedroom in Scandinavian style can serve as a good example for cases where it’s possible to set aside just a small corner for a mini-office.

This option suits those who are happy with just the essentials in their workspace: a desk and a chair. You can add one or two neat wall shelves for books and office supplies.

Pay attention: the desk in this bedroom is chosen to match the wall color, which visually 'dissolved' it into the space. Three sliding drawers made it possible to organize storage for necessary items.

A small tip: if the corner you can set aside for a workspace is very small, consider corner desk models and compact suspended options.

Option 3. A Compact Workspace by the Window
Placing a desk in the bedroom by the window has several advantages. First, good natural lighting during daylight hours. Second, the opportunity to work with a view of the street (creative individuals will surely appreciate this). Third, the windowsill that can be used as a pleasant addition to the desk surface.

The downside of such a placement is the inability to place wall shelves above the desk. However, choosing a model with sliding drawers or a cabinet will help overcome this limitation.

Notice: for this beige-gray bedroom, a black contrasting desk was chosen, which clearly defined the spatial zoning.
