Celebration of Colors: Scandinavian Interior That Boosts Your Mood
If you want bright changes in life, start with your interior - for example, decorate your apartment with cheerful colored decor, as the owners of this three-bedroom apartment in Madrid did
When coming home after a stressful day, we always want to relax, and sometimes we're even okay with someone lifting our mood and making us forget about our problems. It turns out that this task can be handled quite well by interior design - all you need is to decorate it in bright tones and ensure maximum natural light, as the owners of this apartment in Madrid did.
Optimism at Its Best
The stylistic center of this Madrid apartment was the spacious living room, dining area, and kitchen: you can get from this space to other rooms. On one side of the living room, there was a narrow office for two behind sliding doors; on the other side - a wardrobe and bedroom.
Meanwhile, all private spaces mirror the style and color palette of the living room, forming a common concept: cheerful colors and wooden furniture with an aged finish bring life to the white Scandinavian finish.

Sunny Palette
It's no secret that Scandinavian style is loved far beyond northern countries. The idea of combining bright decor with neutral Scandinavian finishes came to the owners of this Madrid apartment for two reasons: first, white surfaces reflect light well; second, they make it easy to experiment with any bright colors.
The dominant color in the palette was various shades of yellow - in the interior, you can see cushioned sofas, high chairs, an old chest of drawers, and decor in this tone. In the bathroom and bedroom, in addition to yellow and sand tones, green shades appeared; in the office, they bet on creative disorder in colors and textures.

Functional for Life
Besides the bright decorative elements, the interior of the apartment was made as functional as possible. All storage systems were moved to a spacious wardrobe: here there are open two-level clothing racks, tall shoe shelves, a chest of drawers, and a shelf for accessories above the ceiling. However, no decoration was omitted in this utilitarian space either: the wardrobe was adorned with a crystal chandelier and a mirror with a gold frame.
The kitchen was also arranged conveniently: the work surface with the stove and sink were placed on an island, and a powerful extractor hood was installed above it. The heavy metal accessory not only protects the living room from unwanted odors but also adds an original and strict accent to the playful, almost childlike interior.
