Dining Room Renovation: Fast and Budget-Friendly Makeover
The dining room is one of the most important rooms in the house, and therefore its interior should be especially cozy: inviting to conversation and stimulating appetite. We'll show you how to achieve this
A beautiful and cozy dining room is every housewife's dream. However, when thinking about the upcoming renovation, most people lose hope because good and quality renovation requires not only time but also a significant amount of money. Today we'll tell you how to transform the dining room interior beyond recognition while staying within the planned budget.
Starting the Renovation
Jeremy and Edri dreamed of updating and improving the dining room interior ever since they bought a house in Arizona. The room seemed to them dark and uncomfortable, filled with bulky furniture, lacking air and space. That's why the couple didn't hesitate to start renovating the interior.

Expanding the Boundaries
The couple began the dining room renovation by changing the color scheme of the interior. Painting the ceiling and walls in a dazzling white with a subtle touch of blue, Jeremy and Edri made the dining room feel more spacious, filling it with air and light. The dining room also appeared twice as large due to a mirror that creates the feeling of open space in the interior.

Style and Color Variety
Having settled on a color scheme, the couple got rid of bulky furniture that made the dining room small and gloomy. Their choice was compact furniture in lighter, refreshing shades. To save on renovation, some decor items were made by Jeremy and Edri themselves: for example, a weathered white dresser and a wooden panel mounted on the wall. Wanting to give the dining room a stylish and cozy look, the couple blended classical style with more modern chairs with plastic backs. As a result, despite differences in colors, styles, and materials, all furniture items harmonize well with each other and make the interior unique.

Vintage Effect
Jeremy and Edri dreamed of an original dining room design, so they chose vintage accessories: a large chandelier in the style of past centuries, books, and a geographical map. Vintage not only blends extremely well with modern interior items, highlighting their elegance and novelty, but also makes the interior more cozy and conducive to conversation.
The final touch to the dining room update was a large black-and-white rug with a geometric pattern, defining the center and main area of the interior. Thus, the dining room makeover didn't take much time, and as a result, its interior seems larger due to the light color scheme, mirror, and centralized space. Thanks to DIY furniture and decor, the couple managed to save significantly on the renovation budget.
