There is much to say about the advantages of windows in a bathroom and the disadvantages of such a layout. Mostly, it comes down to better lighting, natural ventilation, and possible discomfort related to the window facing a busy street or heat loss in winter.

These two drawbacks can be addressed by using a more powerful radiator or special glass panels that mask the glass but still allow sunlight to enter the bathroom.

A window in a bathroom can serve not only as a replacement for a light bulb but also as part of the design.

To separate this intimate area, such as a shower room, from the outside world, you can also use special textiles for bathrooms. These may include Roman blinds or simple curtains, light and transparent fabrics used more for window decoration than blocking light from entering the room.

Important! If you don't have the possibility to install a window in your bathroom, you can go purely decorative: install a fake window. Of course, it won’t provide as much light or sensation, but as a decorative element, a fake window looks decent.
