Villa Broek by Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten

Villa Broek is a new project by Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten. This modern house with an area of 5360 square feet is located next to a nature reserve in the Netherlands. Its interior features an open layout that maximizes space and natural light. This is not the first project from this studio we have featured. You may also recall their Villa Rotonda in Guirle, as well as the Outside in House project.

Villa Broek is a standalone private residence located next to a nature reserve in the Netherlands. In this natural setting, Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten designed the building, garden, and interior. The plot is situated between several detached houses built along a semicircle.

Villa Broek has the same shape as surrounding buildings, but is rotated 90 degrees relative to its neighbors. The building's transverse placement creates a dramatic street facade, as well as a beautiful view of the landscape behind the house. Moreover, this design creates two distinct spaces: a terrace as an entrance area and a lowered terrace in the garden.

The low body was built adjacent to the main block where the kitchen is located. Housing, garden and interior were designed cohesively, resulting in a series of cozy spaces and places offering tranquility and intimacy among the mesmerizing landscape.
