Limited Japanese elegance, Eastern philosophy, rough loft textures — all this is needed to create a stylish and attractive man's interior.
The task was to fit the living room, kitchen, and separate bedroom. The owner also asked for a place, if possible, for a work zone, drum bag, and sauna. And at the same time not to make the space narrow!
We believe we fulfilled the task. We completely reconfigured the interior and even found space for a wardrobe.
To preserve light and air in the apartment, we used glass partitions. Repeating circles, starting with the mandala above the bed, create a flow throughout the apartment.
The bathroom in the SAMURAI project is filled not only with natural textures but also with symbols of Asian culture. Taking a shower, you enjoy warm wood tones… and stabilized plants behind glass. Literally touching nature.
These are not photos, but real volumetric leaves illuminated by red lighting.
In Asian culture, the color red symbolizes the morning sky. In paintings, the sun and even clouds become red. For people, this color reflects determination and resilience of character. We think it's an essential morning boost in a man’s interior.
The most attentive noticed the fish on the ceiling. Fish in China are always associated with abundance, and in Japan — with luck and perseverance. Here they also harmoniously fit into the design. - Project description and images provided by AG Design Studio
