House PK by SPC Technocons

SPC Technocons completed the design of House PK – a residential home with a projecting structure located in Bangkok, Thailand. The space of over 8500 square feet offers an open interior that connects to a private courtyard including a pool and beautiful terrace.

SPC Technocons completed the design of this projecting house in Bangkok, Thailand with an integrated approach to construction.

Located in the Bangkok area, Thailand, this 800-meter projecting house by SPC Technocons is designed for a family of five with an integrated approach to design and construction. Hidden behind a private entrance, this modern five-bedroom home is created for a relaxed lifestyle and outdoor entertainment. The pool in the courtyard creates an elegant combination of modern housing, harmonized with texture, warmth, simplicity and tranquility.

Surrounded by a peaceful residential area, the house is characterized by its projecting concrete-like box. The elegant structure contains a workroom with a view of the garage and natural canal. The elegant structure appears to float in the air against a clear blue sky background. A green lawn grows on the west roof of the first floor, visible from the inner courtyard, cooling the terrace and softening the building edges, harmonizing with surrounding greenery.

Spacial design is achieved through the creation of a 'Living Zone' to concentrate the flow of living activities between various areas. The large dark oak door at the private entrance leads guests through a small hall, then surprises them with a spacious double-space gallery and staircase hall, continuing into the living room and dining area. A glass bridge crosses the hall, connecting the upper floor bedroom zone with the projecting workroom in front.

The 8-meter living area is located between the hall and dining room, creating a visual sense of spaciousness. Next to the living room is an outdoor terrace leading to the natural canal from the north and parallel to the internal pool, allowing activities to connect in 360 degrees. The interior architecture is closely integrated with the architectural design, carefully accentuating the character of space. High black steel shelves are perfectly installed on the wall, aligned with the load-bearing structure, as if they float in the air. A long bar with oak surface is parallel to a long dining table, creating an elegant atmosphere for everyday dinners.

The bedroom zone on the upper floor combines the master bedroom, wardrobe, main bathroom and a multi-functional room with a staircase leading to the inner courtyard on the lower floor. The master bedroom is adorned with refined details. The bed platform is a 20mm thick glass structure, creating a visual sense of floating. The desk is part of the bed construction facing the window. Elegant steel shelves hang on the wall right next to the bed, showcasing the owner's interests through collections.

Next to the bed is a dreamy wardrobe with plenty of space. Lighting is provided by floor-to-ceiling shelves with transparent black lids. Continuous access to an elegant and polished bathroom, where a white bathtub stands out on a black marble background.
