Paris Apartment Developing Color Perception
To emphasize the outstanding character of the entrance area, we installed a triptych of panoramic wallpapers on three wall panels dating from the same period as the apartment. The tone is set: each detail will occupy one of the colors from this panorama, as a common element. There is a memory of vision that brings comfort when a person remains in already perceived tonal combinations. Thus, the blue color of the entrance area is directly linked to the triptych, but also the water-green color of the kitchen, terracotta color of the bedroom, pink hue of the child's room, etc.
Transformed and Personalized Spaces
Also, drawing from the curves of this entrance area, owners installed rounded elements in the living room glass wall and dining area door, as well as arches in the child's room. But what was most unexpected for designers was the transformation of an old, very cramped storage room into an elegant and cozy dining area, as well as a window bathroom that became intimate with its muted and dark tones, along with furniture made from walnut wood. Finally, thanks to such highly personalized spaces, the question of brightness no longer arises!
