The MT House in Brazil is a three-level residence located in a beautiful and environmentally protected area. The sloping terrain was organized through three platforms, with the garage and entrance on the middle level, stairs leading to an intimate zone on the upper terrace and a communal space below. The house consists of two metal structure blocks and a third block made of load-bearing masonry, resulting in a compact and fluid layout. The goal of the design was to create transparency that allows the communal space to be in contact with both the street and the landscape.

The project is located in an area with beautiful vegetation at the back, within a protected environmental zone and situated in the city of Campinas.

The sloping terrain was organized by creating three platforms in the center of the plot between two large embankments to minimize earth movement.

The house is distributed across three levels, with the garage and entrance on the middle level. Stairs lead to an intimate area located on the upper terrace and a communal space below.

The two metal structure blocks protect the lower levels, which connect through a curve in the vertical circulation zone, turning the house toward the rural landscape and thus bringing the garden vegetation inside while partially separating the communal area for greater family intimacy.

The third block, made of load-bearing masonry, contains the laundry room, kitchen, and barbecue area, where the last two zones are directly connected to the communal space but at a slightly lower level.

The result is a compact and fluid structure with defined independence between zones. On the first level, the goal was achieved to create necessary transparency for contact with the street on one side and the landscape on the other.
