This 120 m² apartment, perfectly suited for a young couple, is located near Moscow Lake and just minutes walk from the beach. Such location is rarely found, so the couple didn't hesitate to buy it when they had the opportunity.

They turned to talented interior designer Alice Shabelnikova to transform the apartment into a space that would be bright and airy, as well as elegant and modern.

"The place was initially a bit cluttered, with unusual angles. The living room was divided by doors and large ventilation boxes hung from the ceiling," Alice said. "We unanimously decided it was time for a full renovation."

Choosing an open-plan layout, they ensured smooth transitions from one room to another. The journey starts in a spacious hallway leading into the living room with an amazing view. "Creating a strong first impression was very important, and I aimed for perfection," Alice emphasized. The main area consists of a large living room, dining area and kitchen cleverly tucked away.

"One of the challenging tasks was solving the issue of bulky ventilation and plumbing on the kitchen side," Alice noted. "We concealed them using panels, lowered the ceiling for consistency and organized kitchen appliances in a custom niche, combining some panels with dark wooden cabinet fronts for harmony."

The private part of the apartment serves as a cozy retreat including the main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Built-in wardrobes by the window echo wall color, providing additional storage for clothes, a laundry room and versatile living space.

"We chose a homogeneous warm white color for its calming effect, contrasting with dark wooden accents," Alice explained. "However, the guest bathroom has a dark chocolate tone."

By combining color palettes and coordinated finishes on the kitchen, living rooms and bathrooms, the apartment radiates an expanded and light atmosphere.

Reflecting on the project, Alice shared: "This project was incredibly pleasant. The couple fully shared our vision from the beginning, and the result matched our joint imagination down to every detail."
