Graça 117 by Pedro Carrilho Arquitectos
Graça 117 is one of the renovation projects that contributed to enhancing and preserving the urban coherence of Graça street in Lisbon as part of a complex of historical buildings. Similar to many other buildings in Lisbon, this project required comprehensive renovation with restoration of architectural details, adherence to existing guidelines and re-planning of residential spaces.
For the housing concept, 7 small T0 studios were designed for short-term use, functional and suitable for this purpose. The ground floor retained a commercial space to preserve the spirit and sounds of the neighborhood.
As an integral part of the street profile, a distinctive color was chosen for the main facade side — dark blue — which creates a chromatic rhythm on this urban façade.
