At first glance, you might think this house is located in African Morocco, but the view from the balcony overlooks the Pacific Ocean — not the Atlantic Ocean as one might expect. Interior designer Betsy Burnham chose to design the interior in a fully Moroccan style, using a black-and-white color palette with bright accents. Perhaps the most memorable features of the home are the mosaic on the floor and staircase, as well as the painted tiles on the walls and fireplace. Special mention should also be made of the exquisite wooden furnishings: the bed, the sofa table in the living room, and the console in the hallway look like works of art. Overall, the interior is very memorable and unobtrusive, despite the abundance of ethnic decor elements. The view from the veranda will surely stay with you long after you've seen it.
