Buddha House in Kyiv by 33bY Architecture
Architecture bureau 33bY Architecture presented the project "Buddha House" or "Buddha's House" in Kyiv, Ukraine. The summer residence with an area of 170 square meters stands out for its interesting interior designed for a young and friendly family following Buddhism, practicing yoga, and loving to travel. The building is intended for leisure and hosting guests.
The house consists of a living room with kitchen and dining area, bedroom, spa zone, fitness room, bathroom, and two large terraces with a pool. The building has a G-shaped form oriented towards the inner courtyard. Thanks to large sliding windows, in summer the house fully "opens" to the landscape, creating a seamless flow between the courtyard and the interior. The building is constructed using wood, glass, and metal. Street pergolas and terraces complement the architectural composition. Natural wood, stone, copper, textiles, and a variety of lighting (both natural and artificial) are used inside.
