Luxury Villa on Indian RUBLEVKA
The Villa Aurelia, designed by the studio SHROFFLEoN, is located in the town of Alibag, India, which can be rightfully called the local RUBLEVKA. Spread among exceptionally beautiful landscapes, this place has become a favorite for building country homes among wealthy residents of Mumbai.
The architects' task was to construct an addition to an existing structure—a standalone two-bedroom house with an impressive swimming pool.
The elongated panoramic pool, designed on a natural slope, extends in the direction of picturesque scenery and distant views. The space formed beneath it was used to create a 185 square meter house containing two bedrooms.
The panoramic pool flows into a smaller water body at the bottom, forming a cascading waterfall that serves as the backdrop for the lower level's living room.
Perpendicular to the white panoramic pool on the upper terrace is another black pool, whose streams gently flow down a textured stone wall. A jacuzzi is placed between the two pools. These water features are equipped with lighting from 1500 optical fiber bulbs, enhancing the luxurious atmosphere of the villa after sunset.
