Studio Tom Mahieu Architect realized the project of a private house RAVE with an area of 172 square meters located in the city of Audenarde, Belgium. Having a small land plot, architects decided to use only half of it for construction, leaving space for a garden.

The first floor of the house is made of glass with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, which expands the boundaries of the living area, making it one with the garden in the backyard.

Black aluminum screens are installed around the perimeter of the plot, protecting the privacy of the residents.

As a result, it was possible to create a compact but spacious house in a modern style with an emphasis on energy-efficient consumption and durability.
