Quebec is famous for its picturesque landscapes and natural beauty. Located two hours from Montreal, Canada, in the town of Ventworth, this 914 square meter house designed by BONE Structure architects features a concept where the ground floor includes an entrance and a maximally open first floor facing the landscape.
The interior of the first floor is predominantly white, with expressive accents added in the form of natural wood elements, all complemented by views of the forest growing outside the windows. The kitchen stands out mainly due to a standalone island with a quartz worktop and a natural walnut cabinet. The glossy floor made of polished concrete emits warmth, creating a comfortable atmosphere during cold winter months.
From the owners' bedroom, one can enjoy perhaps the best view of the surrounding landscape in the entire house, and the adjacent balcony allows residents to fully immerse themselves in the landscape.
Descending to the basement level, guests can discover another living room and two bedrooms. The street-facing terrace entrance is a perfect addition to the first-floor balcony. Now guests can venture outdoors and wander into the forest as far as they wish.
The facades feature classic wood cladding, while black metal structural elements give the building a modern look.
Like other houses from BONE Structure, which developed a patented innovative steel construction system, this building was manufactured in factory conditions according to the highest technological standards and then installed on-site. The entire production process takes only a few months for the company, making it simple and attractive to clients.
