Villa in Chile16 photos
A 284 square meter villa named Machagua, located in the resort town of Cachagua, Chile, was built according to a design by the architectural studio Croxatto y Opazo Arquitectos.
The white stone structure of the first floor contrasts with the wooden framework of the second floor.
There is a direct access from the living room to a terrace overlooking the inner courtyard. Another terrace is situated on the roof of the first floor, intended as a relaxation and sunbathing area; a third terrace is located above the second floor, offering a 360-degree view up to the sea.
The complex sculptural form of the building, with its breaks and gaps, enhances integration with the surrounding environment while ensuring privacy for its inhabitants. The house faces away from the street, opening its large glass windows of the living room toward the inner courtyard.
