Before buying this small house in the picturesque Aran valley in the Pyrenees, the family had been coming here for winter holidays for years to go skiing. But staying in hotels restricted them in many ways and did not provide the privacy they wanted. The ideal cottage in their favorite location was found almost immediately, although at first it wasn't that appealing. New owners made several major changes to make the house look like a heavenly corner — they completely changed the color palette to almost white, enlarged the windows and added many cozy details. What a view from the window!
