House for Young Family by the Ocean12 photos

The Dune Road Beach House project, located on the eastern side of Long Island, USA, was designed by the architecture firm Resolution: 4 Architecture. The ocean-view house belongs to a young family that lives in Manhattan year-round and uses the residence for relaxation. This house is much smaller than the owners' apartment in New York. The 204 square meter space includes 4 bedrooms and a small office. Living areas with floor-to-ceiling windows are designed to give the feeling of arriving at a beach resort while maintaining access to all home amenities. On the second floor are three bedrooms and a room with bunk beds, and an internal staircase leads to the rooftop terrace. There is a relaxation zone with a fireplace and jacuzzi, as well as a spot for morning yoga with views of the surrounding landscape.
